Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka, an American singer, songwriter, musician and model, is well recognized as the half of the musical duo Aly And AJ'. She also performs alongside her sister Aly Michalka. AJ was was born in Torrance California and was influenced to sing from her maternal grandmother Carrie. AJ was a part of her childhood in Torrance along with Seattle as well as Milwaukee. The two began playing the guitar and piano as young children. As they moved into adulthood, they had become skilled in their fields. AJ began acting when she was 5 years old, and was a part of church productions that were theatrical. AJ played in the school's musicals. AJ started her journey into acting in 2002 as an 11-year old girl in the show 'Passions'. She was later cast in important roles like The Guardian', Oliver Beene as well as All My Friends are Getting Married'.
